During World War II, thousands of American women served in the U.S. Navy's Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service program. In celebration of Women's History Month, The Jaxson presents a collection of photos from the National Archives capturing the trailblazing WAVES in action at Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
