Took this one at Blue Cypress park in Arlington yesterday.

Similar stories all around town following Christmas. Many of these drop off points are at parks. Castaway Island is a nature preserve. Meanwhile the mayor seems more concerned with whatever football game is on.

Total failure of local government. They will deny and push it off on the contractors but it is ultimately THEIR responsibility. I have stopped recycling completely as I will not participate in their ineptitude...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I load up my giant recycle bin every week and roll it out for the trash guys to take.  I'm glad we have the core city garbage service these days...  Zero issues throughout this whole mess.
