I couldn't easily find a thread relating to all the irons (business side of the Jaguars, Shipyards, Four Seasons, Dailys, Training Facility, endless Stadium Improvements, former Lot J, Edgewood Bakery, political involvement...) Khan had or has in the fire.  And, as time goes by, I am sure he will be adding more.  So, I figure I would start this thread to consolidate discussion about his many projects and/or interests, especially since many are interrelated.  This is meant to be separate from comments on the team play of the Jaguars.

To kick things off regarding incentives and giving back to the community by sports owners, I found this little tidbit about Steve Balmer's project to build a new $1.2 billion arena for his L.A. Clippers NBA team and how it might contrast with Khan's doings here.

QuoteThe Clippers estimate the Intuit Dome will generate roughly $260 million in annual economic activity for Inglewood, including over 7,000 full-time and part-time jobs. The Clippers also committed to a $100 million community benefits package.

There have been discussions about a community benefits agreement involving the Eastside. I don't know the numbers but would not be surprised to see one at some point.
