District 7 broke?

I have it on pretty good authority that ALL of the district 7 bond money is gone, and not all of it was spent on district projects.

I also have heard from a second source that John Culbreths departure had more to do with him questioning how parks money was being spent, than his 100K+ salary. I have a few things in the works, I will post my findings.

Bond money does not include the money for Main Street, right?

No, it does not.

Bond money was from the last bond that was passed a couple of years ago. Basically, each city council person was given a million bucks to do with what they pleased. You will remember the 1st Timothy debacle in which PLF wanted to give 650K from the bond, and another 400 some odd K from the NW Trust fund.

That obviously didn't happen, so she still had money to play with. Since her girl didn't win, she went ahead and spent it all so the incoming council person couldn't get a shot at doing anything. I don't think there is anything legally wrong with it, but its ethically sketchy, especially if some of the money was spent outside of the district.
