After the owner went to the effort to get a sign erected in front of the Van Zant house, his efforts to turn it into a bed and breakfast seem to have failed.  It deserves to have as much recognition as the Allman Bros. "Big House" and their Riverside house, IMHO:

Let's be honest - it's a generic house on the westside. Everyone was born or grew up somewhere. A sign seems appropriate. It's not worth anything greater and a B&B seems pretty stupid.

Update: according to the listing, it has 10 bedrooms and 7.0 bathrooms. WTF?

It's a ramshackle compound of multiple buildings all cobbled together with a trailer or two on the property.  Let's be real, it's a cool piece of history but no one is going to pay $450k for that mess when you can pick up the 1976 park model across the street for $75k!
