Downtown Jacksonville's historic but long empty former Florida Baptist Convention Building, designed by famed Jacksonville architect Henry John Klutho, is under contract to be renovated by JWB Real Estate Capital.

It's exciting to see JWB and Sifakis take on new types of projects, especially in the urban core. I hope they are successful in turning this property and this section of downtown around.

Wonderful surprise if it comes to fruition.  I considered this a deeply endangered building.
