Finally, college football season is back!

To kick things off, there will be a barbecue this Saturday night. All-you-can-eat gator meat, marinated in fresh citrus juices will be served. Just be careful, the forecast prediction is severe storm, rain and wind conditions with the after effect of depression in Alachua County and a spike in shoe and purse sales across the rest of the state.

I bet being in the Top 25 isn't that fun anyway  :'(

Want to put money on it?  ;D

You giving me the +7.5? I'll take that. This game has 16-13 written all over it.

Not looking forward to hearing all the UF fans gloat this week.

So many Gators in this city, so few degrees.

At least Andrew Luck retired...

Yawn. Either UM should be actually ranked or UF is overrated. Couldn't cover even with 11 sacks. As a UM fan, the redshirt freshman QB looks fine but that OL is horrible.  Get that together and they'll go on a run considering their schedule. As for UF, Franks will need to get it together or he's going to cost them against better teams. Couldn't believe he made those throws in the 4th that gave UM a chance to pull it out in the end.

Sloppy game, not sure why they had Franks throwing the ball that led to that int and all the drama that insude. Gators nearly gifted wrapped that game for the Canes

That whole game was ugly.  Franks needs to get his ego in check too.  I have a feeling this season isn't going to end up good for that guy.  Miami is going to have a rough go if they let their QB get sacked every other play too.

Things I think after the game:
Who had the Gators at number 8?
How come the Gators can't recruit a QB?
Where did the Canes get that OL?
What moron was calling the Gators offense?
Why were the Cane's players posing with bling?
When will Gators go back to opening with military or art schools?

Good question. OL has been a problem since the Al Golden days. You know its bad when you have to role out that many freshman as starters. Last night was baptism by fire for kids who were playing in high school last year.

That's a #305 thing. The turnover chain thing started when Manny Diaz took over as defensive coordinator under Mark Richt. This year, he's trying to make the offense as aggressive as his defense. The redshirt freshman QB looks like he has the tools, if they can keep him standing up. He won't last the season getting hit like that though.

Miami's QB looks great.  Hope he survives.  I tend to root for the Gators, but their QB play has hurt them for awhile now, and it's looking like more of the same.  That last interception that Franks threw had to be the biggest bonehead play in awhile.  Was that Franks or the offensive coordinator?  They seemed to do everything possible to blow the game.  They should be down in the rankings this week.

All I have to say is that as a UF student, and someone who threw a watch party for last night's game, I was rather stressed last night.

That's on the OC. That was a pass play the whole way, should've never been called
