Ive heard that most people in Toronto are Bills fans, so I guess that would work, They are only 1 hour apart.  I don't think the Rays and the Hornets are moving. Rays may got to the WS & Hornets just missed the NBA finals. The fan bases are too hungry to move.[/color]

Yeah, of course it works for Toronto. They'd love to have the Bills. I don't think Buffalo residents are quite so pleased about that possibility though.

As for the Rays and Hornets...success on the field doesn't prevent franchise relocation. Look at those very Hornets...in Charlotte they made the playoffs three straight years before they moved to New Orleans.

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS!?! You Kidding Me? PLAYOFFS?!

Love Jim Mora

Not sure what Jim Mora's rant has to do with what we're talking about...

Dennis Green, haha. nice. I like Mike Gundy cause he's a MAN.

Anyway, sorry soxfan, but Rays just put up 2 in the first. I suspect they'll score 9+ runs again tonight...

You mentioned the Hornets going to the playoffs and then leaving...In the NBA that is pretty easy considering 16 or the 30 teams go to the playoffs. The first round of NBA playoffs mean nothing....thats why I hit you with the Jim Mora classic lol.  :)

Ah, I understand you now...but now I think you're wrong. Charlotte Hornets were a good team before they moved. You say New Orleans did so well last year that their fans won't let them relocate...I say they made it to the second round of the playoffs. Guess what Charlotte did? They made it to the second round of the playoffs their last two seasons there. So if New Orleans duplicates their success from last year, judging from the franchise's history, they'll be gone when the season is over, right?

In any case, I'm not anti-New Orleans at all and I'm not trying to be difficult. Just givin you some facts. I hope they do well, the team stays there, and man...Chris Paul is the best PG in the game right now. Love watching him.

Dude they went to the Western Conference finals against the Lakers...I'm sure fan support is strong. I don't see that team leaving NO.... with in the next 5 seasons. Charlotte wasn't supporting the team, they had beef with the owner or something, there was some sort of problem.

As of right not I think the Rays and Hornets can be taking off the list that was posted.

lol, sorry if im coming off as hostile, but i dont know what planet youre on or why you post things without checking yourself first. You seem like a nice guy and so I apologize if i sound like im just trying to argue with you.

That said, umm, new orleans did not play los angeles in the conference finals. it was spurs-lakers. hornets lost to the spurs at home in game 7...i was really really upset when it happened too, but it's what happened. hornets just couldnt hit free throws that day. not quite sure how you can try to rewrite history, or if youre in denial or something...

anyway, you're right about charlotte having a beef with the owner...he wanted to leave the city and it wasnt fair. in fact, he got in trouble for under-reporting attendance (to make it seem like the fans werent coming). on the other hand, new orleans was under fire for overreporting ticket sales (they resold tickets and reported them to the league as new ticket sales) to make it sound like things were better than they actually were.

again, i feel bad cause i like new orleans and the hornets franchise. I'm not bashing them. Just trying to stick to the facts and be fair to both new orleans and charlotte. last year, new orleans was really good, but no, they didnt make it to the conference finals.

P.S. CANNOT believe what the Red Sox did. I'm a little worried now...this is eerily similar to the '04 comeback over the yankees.

WOW!!! What a game!!!!  I was just about to throw in the towel when my nephew ( who is a Rays fan) text me. It was at the same time as Ortiz's homerun. I told that if they come back and get hot and win the game, they will come back and win this series. They got hot!!! Game 6 here we come!!! I hope Beckett is himself if not I pray that Francona sees it and changes pitchers quickly.. This is going to be great, another huge come from behind series. HISTORY!!!
