Through Ten H Investments Hanania and Joe Hassan, have paid $2.8 million for the Dyal-Upchurch Building on Bay Street.

The six-story, 48,000-square-foot building at 4 E. Bay St. was the first Jacksonville building designed by Henry John Klutho and opened in 1902, as the city began rebuilding after the great fire of 1901. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Hanania said he plans to move his coporate headquarters there from Blanding Boulevard. Ten of Hanania Automotive Group's 14 dealerships are in the Jacksonville area.

Daily Record Article says he's looking for another building for his QB. Apparently Dyal-Upchurch has only 6k SqFt free, and he's looking for about 20k SqFt.

Yes, his original plan was to move his headquarters there, but most of it is leased. He bought it for roughly 60% of what it sold for in 2005.
