When will JTB Flyover open?

I know Rick Scott was in town last week for a "ribbon cutting" and announced the JTB Flyover would be open tomorrow, but a coworker just told me it's delayed. Does anyone know why and when it will open? I'm having trouble finding any info, local news is all about Irma and FDOT Northeast Florida Roads website still says "Fall 2017" as estimated completion date. I am hoping it opens before Friday, because there is a new stoplight under the flyover, right after you exit 95 and turn onto JTB, that is currently not operational (just flashing) but electronic sign says it will start operating on 9/8/17...

Was supposed to open tonight but delayed a few days because of issues with striping apparently.

Once this and the ramps onto 95 at Atlantic/Kings Ave are open, my trek to the beach will be MUCH faster!

Damn.  Was looking forward to finally cruising over it going home from work today.

I know, I was disappointed about the delay too.  WJCT said it could open tomorrow or Friday if Irma doesn't interfere.

This just leaves the I-10/295 interchange as the last of the major interchanges to be redone and I haven't seen any announcement on that yet.

Pretty sure that will happen after the Fuller Warren and Acosta are redone

Spread the word. So many cars were still exiting I 95 and went to traffic light for left turn to JTB west to do what they have been doing rather than use the flyover ramp.  It is clearly marked.  As one who needs to get to Belfort Rd South I had hoped for less traffic getting to Belfort so I anticipate it will happen soon.

Went by it this morning around 730am. One thing I noticed is a lot of people not realizing in order to take the ramp, you have to exit a half mile or so before. A lot of getting over at the last minute once realizing they missed their exit.

I thought it was supposed to be tolled.

It's open. Just went over it. Excellent addition to the infrastructure.

Our first visit to Jax was in 2009 and we came straight down 95 from the airport and stayed in a new hotel at JTB.  Those miles from downtown to JTB were ugly and scary, not to mention inconvenient.  When we were there in July of this year, we could not believe the difference.  Even though most of it was still being built, you could just see how much better it was going to be.  This flyover will massive for those that take that route regularly.

Tolls for this flyover were never on the table.  The express lanes on I-95, just as on I-295 soon, will be toll.

Flew over it yesterday.  It literally cut 8 minutes off of my drive time home.  This one was definitely money well spent.

Excellent.  I can say the who system is much of an improvement and was much needed.
