Is the prospect of bringing the (a) restaurant back to its glory days even plausible?

This weekend I'm meeting folks in Ft. Lauderdale at Pier 66 and man, the building and revolving bar are strikingly similar.

337 W Adams actually will be good for JEA.

It being in the heart of the legal district will mean lots of law related tenants who can lease space outside of JEA's internal needs.

So this may be a wise investment by our utility to get Class 1 space without having to bear the full cost of development.

Hopefully they will hire a more modern architect for design being the anchor tenant.  While JTA got a little more daring with their HQ in LaVilla, it would be nice to see a new addition to the skyline that is complimentary and not just a box. Something beyond Mies, but not as bombastic as Calatrava.
