Finally the defense does not give up a TD to tie or lose the game. Jags offense IMO is still to predictable, but hey we won!!! ok Jags rest and get healthy. Go JAGS!!!!!

It was fun to watch but made for some tense moments. Huge win and look at the upcoming schedule:

Bye, Cleveland, at Cincy and at Detroit.

6-3 anyone?

I'm thinking the same thing (6-3 is realistic), but let's not jinx it!

Yes the Cardiac cats keeps all teams in the game to the wire they could have gone up atleast 31-17 or 27-17,but they won so I guess thats whats important.

If it weren't for Denver giving up the ball a few times we would've seen a totally different outcome. They really did scare me most of the first half. The 2nd half we looked really solid though. I'd really like to see a game in which we just put it away the entire time. I've got high blood pressure, being a jags fan is realllllllly bad for my health!

I've said for a while that there should be a disclaimer before Jags games that if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, etc. that you shouldn't watch the game live.  Record it on DVR and watch it later.

Thank God Denver turned the ball over three times. It was a great game to watch. Go Jags!

Excellent game and very fun to watch.  MoJo was on fire and the receivers really stepped up to the plate.  Well done JAGS!!!

I hope that by week focuses on penalties and holding the O line.  Three times Denver was able to penetrate the center lane unblocked.  I'm sure Jack was a bit hot headed over that.

Note that those Denver turnovers were forced by the Jags.  Thier guys didn't just drop the ball themselves.

Considering their success this week I am thinking del Rio would prefer to not have a bye...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I wouldn't be so sure. This team needs to get healthy.

What a great game.  Some of the players were complaining about the pass interference call that let us keep the ball.  Yes, it was a bad call but there were several holding calls that were never called and the pass that the Bronco knocked the Jag player (forget who it was) before it got there, it all evened out.

Yes, 6-3 is realistic.  However, we never play well in domes and the game vs. Detroit is in a dome.  I think that after 9 weeks, heading into the Tennessee game, it will look like this:

Titans 7-2
Jags 6-3
Colts 6-3
Thinking about moving to Downtown.  Soon to be divorced, tired of yard work and want to live closer to Jags games and everything that Jax has to offer.

Jason

Hopefully more of our starters will be well enough to play after the bye.  I'll tell you, the next three teams are in for a bruiser if we can get a couple more starters back in the game.

Alas, an outcome that I would have liked much better.   :-[  The Broncos beat themselves this past week and the Jags took advantage of it. Well played.

At least the JaxByDefault household doesn't have to face a family harmony building, split loyalities, Denver-Tennessee game this year. However, we'd sacrifice both of our NFL teams' seasons to the sports gods in exchange for Vandy in bowl game.  ;)

The Jags played up to their potential yesterday even with the injuries.  With the bye week healing injuries and the weak schedule things are looking a little bit brighter.

Eh, you dont need to sacrifice anything. Vandy will make a bowl. 6-6 should do it, so as long as you beat Duke, Kentucky, or Tennessee you'll get a bid somewhere. But please tell me youre a fan of the Broncos for some reason beyond Jay Cutler.
