Couple of Topic Line Suggestions

Hello All:

On all of the new forums, I'd suggest a split for a couple of topics.

1. Since JTA is one of only TWO transit authorities in the country that is also the local road builder and highway agency, the cure for it's many troubles is to split it up. We are doing ONE THING the rest of the Transit World isn't and we all are paying the price for it.

Why not:

Freeways, Highways, Roads, Traffic, and vehicle infastructur: Input on what is right and wrong with everything from bottlenecks to stoplights etc...

Mass Transit, Buses, Skyway, Trolleys, Rail: If it carrys the public, this is the place for comments, ideas and suggestions etc...

2. Why not a true Topic line to suggest REAL tourist and tourist attractions in our city.

Jacksonville Tourism, Tourist Attractions, Theme Parks and Museums: What we have and what we need to join the rest of the State in getting those tourist dollars etc...

That's it guys, Gee, I'm serious for a change!

One thing I would like to see used on this site would be the "Todays Posts" button on the top of the home page for selection.  It makes it easier to keep up with current conversations and posts without having to search the site. 

Is that possible to do here??

I like that idea.  I also like traditional(bus, cars, bikes, motorcycles) vs non-traditional (ie High Occupancy Vehicles(HOV), Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV), Electric Vehicles (EV), Alternative Fuels, etc., et. al)

At the very top there is a link that says, "Show unread posts since last visit.". That will do what you want. Also, sometime in the near future I will be adding the latest posts to the front page.

There seems to be a lot of "action items" on the site; however, no one place where the items can be tracked.  This would allow us to see what we are currently focusing on.  What if there was a single thread for action times, with a link back to the main discussion.  Just the process guy in me.
