Construction delays have held Wicked Barley up so they're now hoping to open by March 2016. You can check out their beer on Oct 2nd at the Brew at the Zoo event (https://www.facebook.com/events/1435700396746833/)

I'm looking forward to this place. There's a serious void of sports bars, night life etc and the like in the area.

That there is. Looks like this place won't be open until next year but i'm looking forward to it. There's a hookah/Lebanese place right around the corner from this, and when this place opens that'll give the area a little jolt.

I could see Mandarin supporting a craft brewery or two. Most the drinking spots on that side of town are restaurants minus an occasional dive.

Wicked Barley seems to be moving along.  Can't wait for it to open!  Looking forward to this new addition, which joins Veteran's United as Bay Meadow's second brewery.  Took some pics last week.

The lead brewer from Cigar City will be joining Wicked Barley.  That's awesome!!
