QuoteRamsey if he is there.

If not, Bosa.

Too many questions about Jack's knee.

Winner, round 1

After seeing what came out about Tunsil (reports he took money at Ole Miss and then smoking Bongs), he may be the next Blackmon, as he slid hard for off field issues.

There are too many good players these days, in so many rounds, its not realistic to expect  the blockbuster deals on a regular basis. The Eagles/Browns trade was bad for both teams, all these drafted kids are not yet proven. I will give Caldwell props, he trades players who have played downs in the NFL and who have real value for picks in rounds.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

A college athlete taking money? Shocking!

All athletes (college or pro) should be allowed to smoke weed. It isn't any worse than the institution-approved painkillers team doctors hand out and players get addicted to.

Quote5. Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State A+ Grade
Stupid teams do stupid things. The Jaguars used to be a stupid team, but they've made great strides recently, and now look like they're on the cusp of competing for the playoffs. They've taken another step toward that with this pick. Jalen Ramsey is one of the top two players in the draft. Jacksonville shouldn't have been able to obtain him with the fifth-overall selection, but it did. Congrats, Jaguars! You're one of the winners of the draft.

This is a great pick, worthy of an A+. Ramsey is very talented, and he can play both cornerback and safety. Jacksonville's secondary was a complete mess, but that's no longer the case with Ramsey on the roster.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Because I thought it an impossibility, didn't even factor in Ramsey. I'm incredibly happy today and I don't think we're on the cusp of the playoffs, we're competing for the Division title -- as long as Fowler is (and remains) healthy.

Had he played last year, he adds 3 or 4 more wins because his was *the* missing position of need.

Overnight, we've become Florida's team. Players from all three major programs and a native Floridian at quarterback.

I'm happy with Tunsil sliding down to Miami.

Pain killers for college athletes = bad
Weed for college athletes = bad

Therefore it should be OK.

Comments like yours are what inspired comments like mine. Handing out highly addictive painkillers to athletes so they can go back out on their field and earn their teams/schools millions of dollars is encouraged, but there's still plenty of people with retrograde views re: marijuana. A video of Tunsil doing dope is about the most unremarkable criminal (and not even that in several states!) act possible. Like maybe a couple of steps up from jaywalking.

Maybe if he had been accused of rape and Ole Miss and the local police force did everything in their power to make sure it wasn't properly investigated his draft stock wouldn't have fallen and he'd be sitting pretty like a certain someone from last year's draft who was also chosen by a Florida-based franchise ;)

Weed = bad? dude c'mon. Tell that to the 95% of players who partake in this so called "bad" drug in the off season.

The real issue here is someone hacked into his accounts and posted a video (from years ago) without his permission, costing him millions of dollars. I applaud the kid for keeping his composure during that whole fiasco.

I hope soon enough the NFL will get their head out of their ass and take weed off the banned substance list. It's 2016 people, and LEGAL in two states. But no, that'd rather have these players get hooked on prescription pills. Something that's 10x worse than pot. Unbelievable.

Dave Caldwell is killin it with these picks so far; What many said is the best player in the draft Jalen Ramsey, and undoubtedly the best player in the 2nd round Myles Jack! I'm lovin these picks!!! :)

The experts are saying that the Jags got the two best defensive players in the draft.... WOW
A guy at NFL said we will make the playoffs with the upgrades we have made on defense. As long as the offensive improves I have to agree...

I-10east

LOL Tampa Bay picked the FSU kicker in the 2nd round.

MusicMan

Dante Fowler is worth 3 or 4 more wins?

I think we know who's smokin' weed.

Not to detract from the topic, but I have seen too many people brought down to the basement through both painkillers and pot. It doesnt happen to everyone, and people are entitled to feel as they wish, I have just worked with too many people in shelters and rehabs where PK's and pot were mere gateways.

If its good for you great, but for many its most definitely "retrograde".

FlaBoy

Dante Fowler is sick. He has all the tools. Hopefully he, Ramsey, and Jack pan out. Looks like an amazing core of young talent on defense.
