Before Cromartie could be traded from the Chargers to the Jets, there had to be a child support clause added to his Jets contract to stipulate his mandated support payments to all of these mothers of his 10 children.  A California family court  was going to legally block the trade if an agreement was not reached by revoking his travel privs.

His agent was able to work out the appropriate language with the Jets and his support issues began to wane once the trade was completed.
