Orlando-area Lexus owners may soon have quicker access to their vehicle parts, thanks to a huge lease signed by Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc.

Toyota signed a nine-year lease for 96,924 square feet of space in southeast Orlando's Bent Oak Industrial Park's Building 100, where the automaker plans to relocate its Lexus parts distribution operations from an existing facility in Jacksonville.

I am guessing that this is to get parts closer to the UPS hub in Orlando.

Having the warehouse in Jax was probably adding between a half to a full day of overhead in expedites.

The UPS facility on Pritchard Road is not a regional hub as I understand it.

It's actually one of the largest UPS Ground facilities (as opposed to UPS Air). I believe it's about 4th largest.
