A must needed win and over the hated Colts. Hats off to Fred/MJD.The recievers need to get healthy quick, Fred and MJD looked very tired after all the work they did. Matt Jones made some Key catches, and Mathis seemed to be beat all day and his INT was actually interference, but hey we will take it. The Jags showed the receipe for beating the Colts,,keep Peyton off the field,,we need to score TD's when we get into the red zone, oh 2 hats off for Scobee.

Yes, I did not like our defense one bit. Pass rush still can't get home and secondary was a little shaky. Also, not much of an advantage in special teams, which I thought would be a tipping point.

But props to Freddy and MJD, the O-line, Matt Jones for 4 very crucial grabs, and Scobee for being rock solid in the end.

Great game.  An 0-3 start would have been a huge hole to climb out of.  How long will Porter be out?

Any win in Indy is a good win. We have to win the next two weeks against Houston and Pittsburgh at home.

They still need to find a red zone and passing offense.  Indys run defense is not exactly stout.  The Jags cannot rely on 200+ yards rushing and a feeble passing game.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Great win - I knew they could do it. Even as I drove around the landing looking for a spot to catch it on the big screen, the radio said they had :40 to go the length of the field. As I made it inside the Landing someone yelled "Jags win"!

Houston, Pittsburgh and Denver are up next.

They need Porter back by Pittsburgh, Denver at the latest. Hopefully they can go 2-1 over these next three, and then face a weaker trio of Cincy, Clev and Detroit.

I hope the Jags wear the black jerseys for the Pittsburgh game.

I really thought the Jags had screwed the pooch by not throwing for the end zone on 3rd down late in the game and instead running for little gain and settling for a field goal and a 6 point lead with 2+ minutes to go.  Luckily, we were able to drive down the field at the end of the game and get the long field goal to win.  We may not always be so lucky.  For now though, good game and Go Jags!

An enormous win in more than one way.  Aside from saving our season, because an 0-3 start would have been devastating, we allowed ourselves right back into the AFC South mix.  The other perspective as to this wins importance is the Houston game on Sunday.  I hate to bring it up, but it is a reality and can't be ignored.  If Jacksonville loses that game and is 0-3 going into the Houston game, the probabibility for a blackout is greatly enhanced.  With that win, I feel that we will have no blackouts this year.  The Houston game along with the Buffalo game were the two hardest to get sold to avoid blackouts and the remaining six feature great time slots and great teams that will sellout regardless.

Again, I hate to even mention it, but it is vital for the expectations this City had this year and the National media and perception to hear 0 blackouts coming from Jacksonville this year.  Love the Jags or hate them, you cannot deny the good they do for the City by being one of 32 NFL franchises in the country.  I'll be up in the nose bleeds (Section 414) on Sunday screaming my lungs out.  Hope to see that place packed.  Go Jags.

I think the television cameras melted at some point during the third quarter.

Jason

Heh, yeah it was televised.  Was that the hottest game on record!?
