^Word. I still can't believe he was let go at UGA
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

I think Dan Mullen would've been a better hire for Miami. One of the weird things in Florida high school recruiting is that the high schools are all running some version of the spread while UF and FSU are running pro style offenses. It would've given Miami a leg up in recruiting and also would've landed them a coach on the accent.

Richt is certainly an upgrade from Golden, but I wouldn't  bet the farm on him getting Miami a 6th national title.

5 years $20 million. Top assistants will be paid as high as $2 to $2.5 million annually. This is a change for UM. Will be interested to see what a decent paid coaching staff can recruit and put together in South Florida.

Uncle Luke is already talking about bringing Randy Shannon back. I really do hope they keep coach Kehoe though.

Total madness that a Div 1 coach playing in the hardest conference in the US and averages 10 wins a season is not just on the bubble but is let go.

Richt and eventually Les Miles.

Its not Saban that makes Bama, its his high paid assistants and recruiting staff.

Stoops at Oklahoma is a great example of someone who can coach because he doesnt overpay his assistants. He has turned over god knows how many assistants in his career there, yet he still does well there and is able to recruit talent.

The whole thing is a bubble waiting to burst.

I enjoy college football as much as anyone, but school "pride" is way out of hand. Let it fall.

well there goes all the money they might have spent on a stadium....and Beckham's soccer stadium plans are on life support...guess Marcus Lemonis is going to have to pony up more cash!

Win and even Joe Robbie, Pro Player, Sunlife or whatever the Dolphin's stadium is named now, will mysteriously fill up.

He will not have the same Athletic Department resources he had at UGA, but then again, he only has one million dollar booster who gets on Youtube and whines about UM football, so he has a softer AD. UM will never be the way it was under Johnson, but maybe that is a good thing. Will be glad to see Richt leave the state of Georgia. He's a helluva recruiter.

It may fill up, only to be emptied by the damn South Florida rain storms. You guys really need a dome stadium in Miami!

You know as well as I do that it will fill up maybe twice a year

They were 8-4 this year, and nobody came. Richt will freak out once he's played games before 15,000 people in the stadium.
