Why feel bad for Duke?  They never crossed the goal line on the TD that gave them the lead, which led to the return. They should have never gotten to the goal line on their final drive, if not for the large number of questionable calls, including one eliminating an interception. Game should have already been over. No one felt bad for the Canes when that phantom flag was thrown against them, leading to OSU's overtime win.....and that was a national championship game. This was a game of two mediocre teams. Duke and their fans can go screw themselves. ;D ;D ;D

Why feel bad for Duke?

Cause that has got to be the worst way to lose at home.

I felt a little bad too. I don't/didnt like either team, but I guess that's why I was able to feel bad. Also was not a fan of Maurice Clarett.

I never root for Miami, but I'd be lying if I said i didn't enjoy a Tobacco Road school getting screwed for once.  The ACC is so biased towards them it is absurd.

So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

"I felt, Paul, that it was too difficult to win through the SEC to win a national championship," Bowden stated. "I felt like our best route would be to go through the ACC and that did prove out to be correct. But, I don't know if we could have made it through the SEC."

Thank you for bringing us back to 1991....you know, the year after an ACC team (GA Tech) won the National Title
Slight correction . . . a bogus national title for the Ramblin' Wreck.

And Ennis, you're quite right. Duke needs to STFU -- 23 freaking penalties ! ? ! There's something seriously wrong with those ACC refs. One year (after the Swindle in the Swamp, when they were banned and told never to bring their sorry ass back to God's Country) they called 13 total penalties against UF in Tallahassee *before* they ever spotted a foul on the Noles. The reason people don't respect the ACC is largely because of that kind of stuff. Just flat-out, blatant cheating.
