Shots on the Southbank?

Does anyone know what those loud, what sounded like gun shots, sounds were at around 1:45am last night?  There were about 10 "shots" that had long pauses in between.  There were a couple "bangs" and then pause, then another, then another couple together... about 10 in total.  Very loud bangs, sounded like shotgun blasts... I was waiting to hear sirens afterwards but never heard them.  Sounded like it was coming from the Southbank Riverwalk but not sure exactly what it was or where it came from.  Anybody have any ideas what that was??

Yeah, they are going hard at it getting ready to open up the I95 southbound to Atlantic flyover by Aug 10
