I had no idea these young ladies were playing for free. That's insane! I also had no idea Jax had a team.

QuoteFor top female football players, there's no game in town besides the no-pay Legends Football League and its revealing dress code

At least the LFL Commish is honest with the girls...."no one comes to see you play football"

In a way it reminds me of the early days of womens professional sand volleyball. Very little pay, skimpy outfits, lots of oogling and catcalls.

Today its a respected sport that is official Olympic.

I can't see LFL going that far, but I do wonder why these girls, all athletes in their own right, want to do it.

Love of the game and competition against others that are just as physical and good as you. With that said, it's crazy considering the injuries that can easily happen.

Those ladies play pretty hard too.  Just look up lingerie football hits on youtube...

I had totally forgot we still had a team and that this was still in existence. I actually saw that the TV channel FUSE airs the LFL.

Imagine that, an organization featuring underwear-clad women smashing into each other is ruthlessly exploitative?
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Whaaaa?  It isn't... ahh... touch football?
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."
