Fanatics to operate new NBA megastore

A far cry from the days where they were debating whether to invest in a store at Regency Square verses focusing on online sales.

The Jacksonville-based sports retailer Fanatics has partnered with the NBA to operate its new flagship store in New York City that will include widest selection of professional basketball merchandise.

The 25,000-square-foot store will span three floors and include a concierge service with private tours and 3,000-square-feet of event space for private parties, player appearances, autograph sessions and book signings.
