Brown has been in Jacksonville for 4 years and proven ineffective, Bishop has been in Jacksonville for 8 years and all he wants to do, when he gets a microphone is blame years of politicians for past mistakes. If I had to choose between Bishop and Brown, I'd take Brown and his lack of balls, because he is not willing to raise taxes. Bishop will tax and tax and tax to a point where you wished you had jumped on the I'm with Alvin crowd.

Brown and Curry both have run on the "No Tax" tagline.  The COJ has large financial problems.  As Bishop said; Curry can do one hundred 90 days audits and it still wouldn't be enough money for COJ to run, and that if Curry even find "hidden" money.  The fact is COJ has to raise some revenue and/or taxes.  Whether it is passed by City Council or the Mayor it makes no difference.  Although Brown has stated he did "not" raise taxes....There was indeed a tax raise during his 4 years and just because it was City Council doesn't negate his responsibility to the city.  One of the reasons I voted for Bishop is, he seems realistic about how we are going to have to get back on track especially with pension.  "No Taxes" is just the republicans or Conservative talking points to get elected...

Kristian Gore: Went to vote at 7am and the poll worker for Lenny Curry for Mayor Demanded my ballot be taken away while she disputed my photo ID. Apparently my VA card made me suspicious, fortunately the poll workers did not let her stop me from voting.

I sincerely wish you very good luck in coming weeks campaigning for your favorite candidates, but you have constantly pointed out a "myth" (to me0 about the Democrats lying all the time.  I have read some very interesting & heartfelt comments in the last months....but it looks like you are the only one complaining about "Democrats lies".  I don't know where it comes from nor do you need to answer this....I'm just posting my observations.  As you can see..I'm a newbie.

+1    There are many moving parts in an election and the final outcome evidences that reality.  Things can and do change on a dime.  Past elections have proved this truth over and over.  I am sure the Brown camp now understand that reality as well.  We are all in for an interesting few weeks between now and May 19th.  Buckle up folks.

Perhaps between now and May 19, we can post the truth or at least include a link to the message. So if someone posts that Alvin Brown raises $2,000,000, someone ads the link to it, rather than pulling stuff out of the rear and trying to make it stick.

Yeah, there wasn't much to this prediction. Lenny did better than expected by the polls. So did Bishop. The big loser was Brown. Go figure.
