A call to the Times-Union would answer that question. Their rate book is confusing and political rates require a call but a quick Google search shows the average ad price for the T/U to be $227/ column inch. Typical page is 21.5 inches by 6 columns = 129 column inches. At $227 per that comes to $29,283.

Close enough to the $30K in donations, ya think?

I'm not sure Jimmy called "Regent Consultancy" shady....Just the connection of this group to who paid the full page ad yesterday about Kimberly Daniels.  A group called ""Next Generation Leaders Trust" paid for the ad and it connect back to having funds from Rummel and Shad Khan.......That is shady as I far as I am concerned.

The ad placed in the Times Union, it's content and who helped pay for it has me beyond furious.  I was actually sickened by the feeble mindedness displayed in the comment about the people behind the HRO being the meanest people ever.  There are self serving people at play here and none of them are members of the GLBT community their straight allies and any other person who values civil rights.  First and foremost is the cult leader Daniels that this article is about but to their absolute shame comes the funding from Peter Rummell and Shad Khan's LLC to back her ad in a paper she publicly attacked for seeing through her nonsense. Crazy hypocritical stuff right there.  If you take nothing else away from the involvement of Rummell and Khan's LLC  with one delusional  self proclaimed pastor take this, they care about themselves and their agenda's first and their agenda's involve expanding their own wealth and control over our city and using it as a piggy bank launch pad to their own dreams.  What person or person's in their right mind would financially back a woman like Kimberly Daniels and put her yoke of stupidity around the necks of the citizens and taxpayers for four more years?  What thinking person would even consider backing Daniels when there is a stellar candidate in this race that we should all support in the person of Anna Lopez Brosch a sane and competent business woman and fair minded human being.  Any person who would use their wealth or influence to try and keep Daniels in office is not a friend of Jacksonville but rather a person they know will do their bidding when it comes to issues and agenda's.  Makes me horribly sick.  Rummell first offered up Alvin Brown to Jacksonville as the "right" guy when clearly he was not.  Then Rummell bashed him and offered up another "right" guy named Lenny Curry, a hard right conservative and tool of the GOP to replace Brown.  People the citizens of Jacksonville are secondary to the egos of these people.  Don't ever forget that.
