Mayor's of Neptune Beach and Jax Beach support Bill Bishop for Mayor of Jax

This evening at a beach event, the Mayor of Jax Beach, Charlie Latham announced his support of Bill Bishop for Mayor of Jacksonville. This confirmed by an attendee who verified the statement after the announcement while speaking to Mayor Latham.  The announcement was a shock to some Curry supporters.  Pics are coming soon.  Previously the Mayor of Neptune Beach, Harriet Pruette also announced that she also supports Bill Bishop for mayor.

Mayor of Jacksonville Beach, Charlie Latham endorsing Bill Bishop for Mayor of Jacksonville.  For those not paying close attention, there is a great wind filling the sails of "Ship Bishop" as he runs for mayor.  Curry camp not happy with this development either.  Looks like more and more people are looking for experience and real plans in order to support a candidate.   That is as it should be.

Jacob, thanks for the share.  The original notification I used came from an individual who was at the event and spoke with Latham after he stood with Bishop to clarify with Latham that he supported Bishop and claimed he stated he did.  This is not the only source of this campaign endorsement claim.  Would you happen to know if this fb statement came as a result of upset from the Curry crowd?  I don't understand how so many people could have misunderstood Mayor Latham's intent.  In any case, Latham's last statement will stand as the indicator of his intention and view.
