Carolina should sign Tebow.

Tebow has proven he can take a team to the playoffs.

Cam can't now. Tebow can!

"I'm a big fan of his and he knows it. He has always given me fits when I've had to coach against him," Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera told the AP. "He's a playmaker and he plays a different kind of football. All the guy has ever done is win. ... He's one of those guys if you were struggling at quarterback, hey, why wouldn't you give him a shot?" Of course, this comes from a guy who has had every opportunity to "give Tebow a shot" over the past year but chosen not to.

Now Ron Rivera has the chance.  To salvage the season and watch Tebow take Carolina to the playoffs.

How many wins would the Jaguars have if Tebow had played?  (More than 2) for sure!

Timmy is too busy.  He is currently down at Disney filming the Christmas parade dressed as a Jedi Knight. "May the Force be with you young Tebow"

I'm not a fan of Tim Tebow but I still would love to have him on our team (Jaguars). The fact that he has recent playoff experience would make him unique on this team, and quite valuable.
He could play on special teams at the least.
The downside of adding him to the roster is outweighed by the potential upside.

Doesn't he have a couple of good years left in him?

He had his chance to join the Jags, he passed and we got an NFL quarterback. Nice guy, but the NFL just isn't for him.
Jags season ticket holder.

Thank you for returning.  I was really beginning to miss your Tebow love letters!

OK.

When our "NFL" quarterback has led our NFL team to an NFL playoff victory, your point will be valid.

Until then...............................

the key word there is TEAM.  Obviously based on the past few years, the Broncos had a lot to work with.

Why should Carolina sign Tebow or anyone out-of-game shape? They already have backup QBs on the roster, the season is just about over, and Newton may not miss that much time anyway.

To be fair, the Panthers are only half a game out of leading the division with a divisional game to be played this weekend - Tampa Bay.

The same team that Derek Carr beat at the beginning of the season when Cam was recovering from surgery.

That's an interesting way of spelling "Denver's Defense."

I kid, but seriously, Tim Tebow's NFL stats make Blaine Gabbert look like Joe Montana by comparison.

Gabbert:
Games Played: 29
Completion %: 53.2
Yards: 4,395
Touchdowns: 23

Tebow:
Games Played: 35
Completion %: 47.9
Yards: 2,422
Touchdowns: 17

Tebow seems like a nice enough guy, and I have no doubt that he's a solid locker room leader, but Denver made the playoffs in spite of Tebow, not because of Tebow. While the defense was locking down opponents and the offensive line was giving him better protection than Blake Bortles could ever dream of, Tebow was barely putting up 17 points a game (comparable to last year's Jags, one of the worst offensive teams I've ever seen). I mean, come on, there were games where Tebow literally completed two passes.

No ill will toward Tebow, but it's a massive stretch to suggest that he "led" the Broncos to the playoffs. Good guy who was in the right place at the right time.

Yeah, but I still don't see how bringing in someone off the couch is going to help the situation this late in the season. They're better off with the QBs on the roster if Cam can't play.

It is great to believe what if scenarios would work better than what is and/or has happened, but there is never any validity to the proposed results.

There is a reason he is no longer playing in the National Football League and I seriously doubt the reason is of his choosing to not be playing anymore.  If he is the messiah of quarterbacks, I find it hard to believe no team has him on their roster.  This should be the most obvious writing on the wall to everyone, but for some reason it is not...
