This Video Will Make You Fall In Love With Jacksonville

This brief video, by Echo Studios, will make you fall in love with Jacksonville. According to its creator, "this video is a labor of love. This is what I did when wondering, hoping, and attempting to understand [life] while in Jacksonville.” Enjoy.

Hmmm...lots of clouds, lots of water.....Jacksonville has lots of water vapor?

Cool video work, otherwise the music makes me want to blow my brains out.

Also, a lot of scenes with empty chairs/roads/zero people.

Hm. I guess accurate?

I'm on the fence with the music, being a Psychedelic-Rock, Southern-Rock, Jazz and New Age fan... but the film is beautiful.

It's not from Visit Jacksonville. I posted about this video two years ago but maybe not in these forums. Nice work by people who loved Jax.

The music belongs to some place in Georgia or Alabama, nice and slow, slow, slow. Then the couple intruded at the worse possible times. Is the video about them or Jacksonville? Couples are in every city.  ::)

I also thought it a bit too much creative license to steal St. Augustine landmarks for a film about Jacksonville.  >:( Having lived in both places, St. Augustine is definitely different that Jacksonville. Planning to retire to St. Augustine. Definitely two different worlds.

Lastly, all cities are pretty from above and particularly with time lapse shots with clouds going by and everything working fast and smoothly. Unfortunately, that is not the way the average citizen will ever get to view their city. :(

I watched 1/3 of the video, and had to walk away due to the music.  I read some other responses, so based on that, I will give the videos' creator an A for effort....but another musical score will...I'm certain...make this video a real winner.
