Pretty cool Bob.  I know it's taken a few years for you to pull this together.   I can't wait to read it. I'll be reserving my autographed copy today.

Looks really cool. Just in time for Christmas shopping...
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Thank's guys, of course transportation is a passion... from crosswalks to railroads. It really is way more then just a trolley tale, with all of the riots, storms, plagues, fire, war and civil rights struggle wrapped very tightly around the tracks, add to that FBI records of conspiracy and you've got a pretty wild tale. Besides that, who would have thunk it? Green Cove Street Railway!?!  ;)

Yes Lake, the boycott's are in there including some pretty funny stuff from the women of color! Also the union movement which was actually spearheaded by the carpenters local, a minority union that helped the streetcar men raise hell. The best part of the story is the fact that the Traction company or the earlier street railways wanted no part of an Jim Crow laws and in fact it was never rigidly enforced on Jacksonville's streetcars.
