AAF CEO Mike Reininger made a trip to the Vero Beach Country Club yesterday where Bob Solari and the Indian River Planning Commission hosted a "debate" with regards to the upcoming AAF.  A packed house heard the two make their cases for and against the AAF project.

A video report was filed by Erin Guy of WPBF-TV here.

Solari, in the interview proudly comments that AAF had no facts, that they came strictly for PR.  Reininger in his interview came and said "hey, we are here, we are serious".

According to a poll hosted by the TCPalm, Solari "won" the debate with 55% of 180 votes. AAF had 32%. The rest were undecided or thought neither won.

In a related event, WPLG-TV in Miami reports that AAF announced they have FRA approval to run as a "quiet zone" from Miami to Hallandale based on the funding AAF is providing.

Strangely, this news release is in all of the press from Miami to West Palm and even in Orlando. But it is not mentioned in the Treasure Coast press at all. I guess either it was lost or the dog ate it off the fax machine.
