Department of the Interiors: BREW Five Points

The latest revolution of the Historic Five Points Strip is coming dangerously close to completion, with three new business slated to open before the end of the year, and every available retail space (with the perennial exception of the former Fuel Coffeehouse) now comfortably occupied. First on the list of grand openings is BREW Five Points, a "combination craft beer and espresso lounge" that earlier this year launched a hugely successful pop-up coffee shop inside the Main Library during One Spark festivities.  Join us inside to see the awesome details of the interior!

Thanks for the article and the pictures of the progress. BREW is open to the public beginning this morning at 7am for espresso drinks, craft sodas, and toast. Still trying to resolve the craft beer part of the shop, which should be up and running soon. For the meantime, we'll be open until 2pm, and 7am - 6pm until we bring in the beer.

Cool photo article.  I love the transformation and wish the BREW guys, the best!

Looks awesome; can't wait to visit. (Though I am looking forward to the super-inefficient retro-incandescent bulb trend to end).

Why is Fuel / Petersons the perennial exception? There must be a story there...

^There are internal issues with the building the owner evidently can't afford to fix, and they'd prefer not to sell.

First of all - thanks for everyone that has supported us as we've been in soft open mode over the last two weeks, it's been fantastic. The big news is that we finally have been approved to bring on the beer and wine, so we'll get our first order in today, and we'll be open till 10pm. As some of you know we've only been selling espresso and craft sodas to this point, so we're thrilled to be bringing on the missing link, the craft beers. Hope to see you soon....
