I am going to give a go and see the response that I generate from this. Hopefully the opportunity is taken by at least a few.

I am going to openly invite those with ideas or proposals or whatever you may have on the mind to come by my office and extend the opportunity to talk.

The hours will be today from 10am - 5 or 6pm depending on the volume of traffic. No appointments needed.

Simply come by the Bank of America building and go up to the 25th floor. Ask the secretary to speak with Ricco Auditore from Auditore Enterprise. I am hoping this will benefit at least some people so please whatever inquiry you may have come on by.

also if you wish to call in advance or whatever here is my direct line. 904.982.7902.

I will use this thread to post any other hours should the turnout be worth it.

a few things I am wanting to get going:

- an event similar to one spark, but for the October time period.
- an event where bands can showcase talent on a non-paid basis (sort of like a block party) if it is successful implement it once a month.

I can also assist with business plans and different corporate issues someone may be facing when dealing with a start-up.

Come on by!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: I am also exploring the option of creating a preservation Non-Profit organisation so those interested in being a part of that should see me as well.

Bands don't want to showcase their talent without getting paid...
At least not any of the bands with talent to show.

Which is why I was proposing a one spark format and charity style events. Bands wouldn't be making madona money but it would offer an opportunity to put their talents to the people. One of the subsidiaries I own is a record label so I was going to also use it as a scouting tool.

Interesting, I'm not sure how you can make it any more appealing to a band than just playing a show in a normal venue in downtown where they will be making money and "putting their talents to the people" anyway.

Anyway, I am interested in knowing what record label you own.

I am glad you have inquired however I have decided I will not feed into certain things that I deem as unnecessary. This is a thread offering opportunity. A crowd funded festival is where a band can use their talents to get people to contribute. Anyway if you were concerned about any of my business ventures you would not have attempted to turn my invitation into a conflict. :) anyway I hope you have a great day and the door is open if you are interested. If not it was a pleasure talking with you.

No conflict here. Just expressing my views as a working musician. I thought my insight might be of use to you as you embark on creating a music festival.

Just some of the remarks seemed a tad condescending is all. I was more referring to 2 totally separate events that it appeared you combined together to make your statement. Those were more so prototype ideas not concrete stuff I do appreciate your input as it provided a perspective from a musician :) thank you!
