The ride sharing service Lyft has recently entered the Jax market, to the dismay of local taxi companies. The local taxis are concerned that their bottom lines are being hurt by upstart companies like Lyft and Uber.

Maybe I'm being a little....superficial...the that whole pink mustache thing is a huge turnoff to riding around in a Lyft vehicle.

Loving Uber, though.

^^^LOL, I must be blind. I'm very unfamiliar with ride sharing services, and I didn't even notice that pink mustache on the car. It goes without say concerning which person comes to mind when Jacksonville and mustaches are mentioned.  Khan eating some strawberry ice cream. :)

Like I said in the other thread, I am loving lyft right now. Mainly cause it's free!! (during the first two weeks)

Anyway, one of the drivers did tell me that the mustaches make them stand out to cabbies, and in other cities cabs have been known to try to run them off the road.

Ben, if you really dislike the mustache you could ask your driver to remove it. lol.

Whoa, watch out the JTA Riverside Trolley won't like it either. Good for us, to have choices and options for transit! Time for sharing of bicycles too in Riverside/Avondale!
