I see that COJ is bringing back the Starry Nights concerts with Chicago and Christopher Cross. I wonder if the folks in St. Nicholas will complain about the sounds of the symphony across the water or is that just for the raucous rock crowd? Just wondering.

COJ isn't doing crap!

This is the Jax Symphony Orchestra who is bringing these acts back to Met Park. Based on the acts and the age of St. Nicholas, most of the residents will enjoy these performers.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
-Mayor Alvin Brown on new video boards at Everbank Field

COJ presented Starry Nights in 2009 and 2010 and gave it their best shot to bring it back to life. This time around, the Jacksonville symphony is back to producing and presenting (it's been 10 years). Its a huge undertaking. but the vibe has been awesome. someone reacted with two words, "so excited". She was not a Pointer Sister.
