Rick Scott looks to boost money for Florida roads, ports

Lots of money coming to widen more roads....

Gov. Rick Scott wants the legislature to allocate a record $8.8 billion for the Florida Department of Transportation budget in the coming year — with $2.6 million going for pier improvements at the Jacksonville Port Authority's Blount Island terminal.

This year's budget — also a record — is $8.6 billion.
