Great reviews. Nice to see some comics reporting. I'd love to see reviews of some of the comics being put out by the local comics scene - they get better press out of town than they do here!

Fallen Buckeye

My brother-in-law, Jason Wright, started a new comic book series this year called Ray. You can check it out here:

He's excellent artist, too, btw. Here's a link to his website: http://www.jasonwrightstudios.com/.

There's the aforementioned Ray, there's Aspire by Rachel Pandich and Ashley Lanni, there's Tension by Ryan Gunwitch-Black, Al Letson wrote Planetfall, there's Toaster Guy by Aaron Hazouri (me), Meet the Neighbors was put out recently by UNF professor and LaVilla teacher James Greene, another local art teacher Josh Rudloff has been publishing Dan In Space for awhile now... There's a local comics podcast, The Short Box, by Badr Milligan, that Jacksonville Magazine is doing a story on soon... And I know there's more out there!

Lots of cool comics stuff happening here in Jax!
