According to actionnews, the nickname choices are the current Rebels, the Stallions, or the Scorpions. IMO 'Scorpions' sounds too Southwestern. Considering the choices, my vote is for my Raines High Vikings to beat up on the Firestone Stallions.

^^^I actually like that name also. Too bad Freebirds isn't a choice. I don't see what people see in 'Westside'. So boring...IMO the name Westside screams 'small town with water tower'. Of course that will win, SMH...
