More proof that if done correctly, these food trucks can be a great stepping stone into good small business and full service restaurants. Additionally, another reason to support food trucks.

Best of luck to corner taco.

Sweet.  I take personal satisfaction in seeing this industry continue to blossom locally. What's been taking place over the last year pretty much validates all those late 2011/early 2012 articles we ran about what this industry could do for Jacksonville if given a chance.  The scene has been pretty transformative since the first Jax Truckies rally was thrown at Bold City Brewery. The best things about news like this is the path to success. No economic incentives or costly studies of how to do something were needed.  Simply, creating a market rate environment that fosters private sector creativity and innovation can be an effective economic tool itself.  The growth of Jacksonville's food truck scene is a prime example of this.

p.s. Gina's Deli sucked.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. I gave Gina's two chance when I moved to Riverside. I ordered delivery from them for lunch one day. I got a call 20 minutes later saying they were on their way. Hour goes by and no one shows up. After calling and leaving voicemails, someone finally picks up and says "Oh, we got really busy. Did you still want you stuff?" I just hung up the phone.

Second time I went into the actual place but after standing in line for 10 minutes nobody said a word to me. I had one foot out the door before somebody asked what I wanted.
