I think they should get paid half if they loose..the other half goes to a charity...these boys make millions as loosers...
i could care less what you think...the whole nfl bullshit is a travesty..

They play loose?

They play looser than the other team?

Their shoes aren't tied tightly?

The uniforms don't fit properly?

WTF are you saying?  I would ground my son for a week if he ever even texted me anything as dumb as what you just wrote.  Probably a month if he put it on Facebook where others could see.

GG, you might want to go sit in timeout and think about what you did wrong.

You need to work on your quotes. ;)

You really need to be more specific.  Which 'whole NFL' are you talking about?  The millions they donate in charity?  The millions that they entertain?  The millions in business revenue that they bring to cities 12+ weeks a year?

I mean.... they're not exactly holding a gun to your head and forcing you to buy tickets, or jerseys, or $8 beer, or .....  whatever else.

You say 'travesty'.  That would mean they're mis-representing themselves, no?  I think they pretty much provide exactly what they say they are, which means you need to look up another word.

Have you tried Sudoku?  It may work better for you.  There's only 9 numbers that can be used and you won't have to worry about getting that whole 'subject / predicate' thing right.

Well, there's Robinson...

Hahaha....  Has he had to come out of pocket for being 'out of uniform' yet?

If Denver sits on the 4th, it will be the first time they've done it this year.  Unless Manning rides the bench in the 4th, they'll keep scoring throughout the game.

I am not into wishing injuries, but what if Manning goes out due to a fluke hit by Cyprien in the first quarter?

Can anyone name the Broncos backup QB?

Anything is possible in the NFL.

The Jags have a pass rush? It's kind of hard to get QB sacks, hits and pressures when you're on your back, 10 yards down field.

Such a pass rush that they just may be scared enough to sit Manning altogether. :)

FWIW, the Jaguars do have 10 sacks this year, which isn't anything special, but on pace to be well ahead of last year's total.

P.S. Why did the regular Jags thread get locked?

I wondered same thing, think it is a glitch because a few boards have been erroneously locked over past few days.

For anyone that is overly concerned about this whole point spread record nonsense, the line is now -27; no more record. :)

What's the over/under on seeing Indy's Denver's punter get some playing time before the end of the 3rd quarter?

He was game until the hired gun with a mic kept asking the same question. Then he had no time for him.

Give Shad his due, he will make a difference for the Jags.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

What other threads have been locked recently?  I'll try to find and reopen them.

Look, Garden guy should be commended for going an entire post without mentioning the First Baptist Church. Baby steps!
