Lunch Down(town) Wednesday at Big Pete's Pizzeria

The next Jax Cash Mob will be a 'lunch mob' as we team up with employees of 121 Financial Credit Union to support a locally owned downtown small business, Big Pete's Pizzeria. Join us for lunch Wednesday August 28 at noon for lunch as we 'mob' another locally owned downtown small business. Big Pete's is located at 118 Julia Street across from the Everbank Center and 7-11.

Is this actually a good thing to mob? I love the idea in general, but the prospect of a lunch mob frightens me. In theory the window of time is tight and would slow down service and slam the kitchen for everyone.

Come out and see for yourself. 

We've done three 'lunch mobs' and they've all gone off without a hitch.  It isn't all that difficult to serve slices of pizza in an expedient manner.

121 Financial (located next door to Big Pete's) wanted to send employees to the cash mob today.  If your office wants to bring people... please do so!  It's all about supporting our locally owned small businesses, so the more the merrier.

Its been awhile since I've eaten at Big Pete's. For local stuff, Joseph's on Main St and Moon River are better but you can't beat Big Pete's lunch special price.
