Keystone receives $1.4M grant, to create 99 new jobs at Talleyrand

Remember the guys who JAXPORT attempted to take the land for their proposed private terminal from them? They're expanding.

Keystone Industries will receive a $1.4 million grant from the Florida Department of Transportation to build an intermodal logistics center at its 110-acre shipping terminal in the Talleyrand area.

The $1.4 million grant will help build 2,100 feet of new rail and an on-site intermodal bulk transloading facility, a news release from the governor's office said.

There was a presentation about this project to the Urban Core CPAC a few months ago.  Several of the CPAC folks were concerned about the particulate pollution from the proposed phosphate (?) processing plant.
