There isn't much foot traffic in the evenings unless there is a special event going on.

Burrito Gallery just opened for dinner on Monday evenings starting this week.

Best advice is to support those that are open now in the evenings: Pho, Indochine, Fionn MacCools, Casa Dora etc.  Chamblins is open late on Wednesdays.  Cafe Nola and Zodiac is open on Thursday and Friday nights.

I'll try to mark that all on my calendar with the first of this day or the last saturday of that season. I just want to go downtown and eat and drink. It would be dooable, but I think every business is going to have to get together and kick it off. Every weekend art market, farmers market, street performer jubillee. Or anything of the likes. People want to go downtown and will if you create an every weekend event.

It's depressingly funny to me that even Subway closes at 7 pm during the week and 4 on the weekend.

That's actually an improvement.  When we first started Metro Jacksonville, we used to meet in the building's basement.  At that time, Subway did not stay open past 6pm or so.
