Whys everybody shootin everybody?

There have been 16 shootings this year by Jacksonville police. Last year,
there were 19. Both numbers are far higher than many like-size cities in
Florida and across the country.
Police say the shootings are because criminals are more aggressive toward
officers. Some community members say the increase can be attributed to a
lack of trust with police.
Why do you think the shootings are on the rise? How can they be stopped?
