Navy / Maritime / Marine / Coast Guard memorial SHOULD NOT BE MOVED. I knew the woman that was the force behind making it happen and her intent was "The City and The Sea." Are we AGAIN missing an opportunity to create something worthy of getting off I-95 with the wife and kids whilst speeding to Disney, to share something that touches all of us.

I believe that the memorial is going to stay in relatively the same area.  If you look at the slide on the bottom of page 3 (Section 105), it should be going in that circular area that juts out into the river.

The statue will stay in the same relative location.  Its next to the bathroom building. The statue will be moved to ground level to allow for easier access and viewing, as the old platform had stairs and it was kind of inaccessible/un-noticed.   There are options for a interactive spalsh fountain in this area as well.

There will definately be multi-colored paver in a curved pattern throughout the walk.  The idea is for it to be visually striking from the buildings above and the MSB.

One more point, I fully agree with Hightowerlover and Innercity that the presentation STINKS! The COJ can and should do better. It is very hard to follow and/or identify the various elements of the plan. Perhaps we can snag better layout photos and publish them.

I emailed the City the same day this went up.  I haven't heard back from an actual person about receiving the PPT.

If you're correct, these are definite upgrades and make it a place that I would be proud to direct out-of-town guests.

I've seen the entire presentation several times and these are the core features of the project.  There are several optional pieces that can be constructed but these depend on how the public bidding goes.
