The Trayvon Martinâ€"George Zimmerman case really is quite simple.  It boils down to ‘stand your ground’ vs. Liberty Valance.  Liberty Valance was the bad hombre in the 1962 film, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.  Liberty is a psychopath, like a villain in a Rob Zombie film, just better looking.  But Liberty Valance is more than just a villain: he’s an idea.
