The station should have fired Donna and Tim when that happened.  Donna and Dan were still married when Tim was banging his now ex-wife.

local sports is now basically a 3 minute blurb on local news.  I'm surprised they keep more than two guys employed in that gig.  I've only been here 4 years, you are telling me that hicken used to be married to donna woman with the cancer?

But what do you mean about blurb? each channel has a dedicated sports show-action sports 360, sports final, and Sunday sports zone. All about 30 minutes each.

^^^IMO local news in general (not just in Jax) there's way too much time dedicated towards the weather segments; It seems like atleast ten minutes minimum (not counting when there's a significant weather event going on). The time that's reserved for sports on local news is normally about a fraction of the weather.

^^^That's been true everywhere I have lived.  Weather is becoming more and more of an American obsession.  Where I live now the weather is about the same every single day, even moreso than in Miami, but there are 2 NFL teams, 2 MLB teams, an NBA team, NHL, MLS, all the minor leagues, Cal, Stanford, etc etc and yet weather still takes 2-3x as much time.  Speaking of sports - a couple weeks ago local news was reporting about a brawl between our arena football and Jacksonville arena football - one of the coaches ended up in jail for assault over a racial slur?
