Hello All, I'm Zee and I was raised and continue to live in Murray Hill. I have served on the Murray Hill Preservation Association and still have contact with the organization. If you need any info about our area, please give me a shout and if I don't know, I can probably find out.
I am fascinated by the history of Jacksonville. I would love for the US and world to remember that this was and will continue to be a hot spot of innovation and culture,

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Welcome!

I didn't know there was a Murray Hill Preservation Association, that's great news. I live on Myra st right near Powers Park. I few months ago, our bridge to the park was removed. When a bunch of people called to complain, the city basically said, we removed the bridge, but there's no money to replace it. can you get in touch with MHPS and tell them about this. If I can be involved in any way, please please please let me know. Thanks.

Welcome!  Interesting timing for me.  Just recently while taking several trips down Post Street near Edgewood I have wondered whatever happened to the concrete boat someone was building in a vacant lot located between Post and Cypress Street.  Any info on that?
