Tee Off Downtown Event

I just saw this advertised on Twitter. Seems like they are throwing a kickoff party for the TPC at the Shipyards.

I have to give it to Mayor Brown. It does seem to be more activities and events going on downtown since he's been in office.

It would be nice to see continued use of the Shipyards while it's sitting there not being used. I always thought it would be nice to do an event like Reggae Sundays at the Conch House. Maybe not every Sunday, but maybe the first Sunday of the month. Have the food trucks there, some of the local Downtown/Riverside/San Marco bars and breweries come out and do a cash bar, live music. Make it a seasonal thing that last from the Spring to early/mid Fall.
