Why doesn't Jacksonville host spring training?

I am surprised they don't at least get the Marlins up here for a game. I remember the Tigers playing a few games up here when they were the Suns parent club. And the Rays typically play a game in Durham.

But more likely, the drive from Vierra to Orlando is about an hour, and Jax to Daytona is about an hour and a half, the team in Jax could play with whomever plays at Jackie Robison Park in DAB, capacity 4,200:
