Artist Series: Pirates of Penzance!  March 12th!



The Pirates of Penzance is possibly one of the most whimsical and clever of the Gilbert and Sullivan Pantheon of comic operettas.  Plus there is the local tie in---The Major General is widely supposed to have been based partially on the bloody minded and pedantic father in law of Jville's most famous and colorful Madame:  Lord Donald Stewart and Cora Crane respectively.  This week the madness proceeds apace at the Times Union Center!  Join us after the jump for details (and a wonderful video clip!)
